A personal service, not a production line
Choosing the right assessor matters. Here’s what makes my practice different.
One Assessor, Start to Finish
From your very first phone call to the final follow-up after your report, you’ll be working with me — not an admin team, not a rotating panel of assessors, not whoever’s free that week. Continuity matters, and it’s the heart of how I work.
Reports Written for You
Your report isn’t generated from a template. It’s written specifically for you, with recommendations tailored to your situation — and to the people who’ll read it next.
Direct, Personal Contact
Phone, WhatsApp, text or email — you’ll always reach me directly. Every assessment includes a follow-up call to talk through your report and answer any questions.
Reports in 2–3 Weeks
Most providers quote four to eight weeks for a SASC-compliant report. Mine arrive within 2–3 weeks — because I write each one personally rather than waiting in a clinical queue. Urgent cases can be expedited.
Fair, Transparent Pricing
An independent specialist practice means lower overheads — and savings I pass on to you. The same SASC standards as larger providers, at around half the price, with no hidden extras.
Meet Sally Simmons
I have over 15 years’ experience providing specialist assessments for dyslexia, ADHD and other specific learning difficulties across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands.
I’m a qualified teacher with experience as a SENDCO in both special education and mainstream schools. I hold AMBDA, a current Assessment Practising Certificate from the British Dyslexia Association, and I’m a member of both PATOSS and The Dyslexia Guild — meaning my reports meet the highest standards set by SASC.
As the parent of a dyslexic son, I understand first-hand how learning difficulties affect individuals and families. My focus is always on identifying strengths in each person, enabling them to reach their potential.
My reports are clear, accessible and genuinely useful — written to empower you, not overwhelm you.
